Khuthaza welcomes both corporate and individual sponsors. Each contribution, whether financial or in-kind, adds value to our work and enables us to do that much more to equip women with the skills, networks, opportunities and support they need to develop successful careers and businesses in the construction sector.

Our sponsors become part of the family and we encourage all sponsors to get involved in our activities.

Volunteering

Do you have construction or business related skills you are willing to share? We rely a great deal on experienced professionals to share their skills through advisory work or speaking at workshops and seminars.

Sponsorship and BEE

Khuthaza supports Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BEE). We believe firmly in the principles of transformation and have essentially been involved in promoting transformation since our inception. Our programmes and strategies thus closely support the elements of the Department of Trade and Industry BEE Codes of Good Practice. Contributions to Khuthaza qualify for BEE points on your scorecard.

In addition to making a financial contribution, companies are invited to:

• Provide opportunities for the women in our programmes to interact with your company
• Share industry information
• Host a site visit
• Provide a university student or recent graduate with work experience
• Share your knowledge and experience by speaking at a workshop or seminar
• Host a small number of women for a lunch with leaders of your company
• Supply Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for programme participants
• Allow a woman to spend time with you or your team to learn on the job (an hour or a week)
• Provide us with use of your training venues
• Provide training (technical, IT, business, specialist construction etc)
• Sponsor the development of business and educational tools
• Encourage your professional staff to volunteer their skills
• Provide advice to the organisation and our programme participants
