BEE – Black Economic Empowerment
BEE encourages companies to increase the numbers of women employed in all levels from junior management to executive management. This focus on promoting women’s advancement in the industry further supports the focus on skills development. Built environment professionals acting as consultants in the sector have additional opportunities to benefit through a number of elements on the BEE scorecard.
